About Me
Welcome to Mr. Garcia Delgado's page! Here's a bit about me!
Education: I attended Elizabeth Learning Center for high school (Class of 2015). Once a bulldog, always a bulldog! After ELC, I attended UC Riverside (Class of 2019) for my Bachelors in History and then UCLA (Class of 2021) for my teaching credential, and Masters in Education. This will be my fourth year at ELC.
Educational Philosophy: I believe that all students can be avid learners of history. The key is to make the topics interesting by connecting their own lives to the curriculum and having students tap into their own cultural wealth. Students possess ample amounts of history and it is my job as a history teacher to tap into that great wealth!
Hobbies: When I'm not teaching, I'm busy traveling, playing baseball and spending time with family!
